Elon Musk is in Bill Gates after the Microsoft co -founder accused him of jeopardizing the lives of vulnerable children worldwide, pushing for dismantling the United States Foreign Aid.
“Who believes Bill Gates to comment on the well -being of children?” Musk said during an interview on Tuesday at the Bloomberg Qatar Economic Forum, responding to the statement of Gates that Musk’s policies harmed the world’s most impoverished communities.
Musk, who pledged to continue directing Tesla as CEO for at least five years, added: “Show us any test that is true. It’s false.”
The publication has sought comments from Gates and Musk.
Musk attack on Gates took place after the software mogul interviewed the financial times in which he accused the CEO of Tesla and Dhege (Department of Government Efficiency) of the head of Foreign Aid Programs in the United States under the directive of President Trump.
“The image of the richest man in the world who kills the poorest children in the world is not beautiful,” said Gates, who pointed out the reduction in funding to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), including programs that provided HIV prevention drugs in Mozambique mothers.
“I would love to come in and meet the children who have now been infected with HIV because he cut that money.”
Gates said that the decision to reduce USAID funding was derived from conspiracy theories that occurred in the Musk inner circle, in particular, that U.S. foreign aid was used to send condoms to Hamas to Gaza.
In February the Musk Agency stated that it was “time of [USAID] To die, “and defended numerous programs. Later he marked a chainsaw on stage with Argentine President Javier Milei during the conservative Political Action Conference in a theatrical celebration of budget cuts.
In defending the cuts, a spokesman for the White House described Musk as “a patriot who worked to fulfill the mission of President Trump to eliminate waste, fraud and abuse.”
The doors, however, said that policies had “real world consequences”, saying that vaccines to save life expired in warehouses due to lack of distribution funding.
Climbing between Musk and Gates is the last flame in a match between the two technological titans.
His disputes have gone from public health policy and philanthropy to financing, including an episode of 2022 in which Musk was publicly speaking of cats after learning that the founder of Microsoft had written the actions of Tesla.
Climbing between Musk and Gates is the last flame in a match between the two technological titans.
Their public tensions date back to at least 2020, when Gates called into question the viability of long-distance electric trucks, only for Musk to shoot again on Twitter (now X), calling “puzzling” cats and publishing memes mocking their appearance.
When Gates admitted to shorten Tesla’s actions despite supporting support for climate initiatives, Musk accused him of hypocrisy.
“He had a great position against Tesla, which is the company that makes the maximum to solve climate change,” he tweeted Musk in 2022. “This is not great.”
Musk also called Gates “A Knucklehead” during a chat house chat and mocked his knowledge of electric vehicles, while Gates has criticized Musk for having dropped Covid-19 and having dismantled misinformation during pandemic.
Gates noticed significantly that Musk should be in his lane when he was a public health, saying: “He is not very involved in vaccines.”
